busy few days of outreach ahead…

In the next 4 days I will be in the midst of a busy few days of outreach and would like to ask you to join me in praying for the kids that I am will be working with. On Saturday, I will be helping lead another basketball clinic outreach at Emmanuel Baptist in Stanton, KY. This time we will be working with 3rd-8th grade girls as opposed to the same age group of boys that we worked with in July. Please be praying that God will begin to work in the hearts of the girls before they even arrive at the camp. While we want to teach them some basketball skills, our main purpose is to show and share with them the love of Christ. Pray that many will make decisions to give their life totally to Christ! Also be praying that God will provide all the necessary staff to help run this outreach.

On Monday we will be starting our first day of the weekly After-School Bowling league that we are starting at the Rec Center. After a few weeks of passing out flyers to all the schools and making announcements we hope to get enough students from all the local schools to get several teams in the bowling league. This is an awesome opportunity we have to bus the students to the Rec Center and not only show them how to bowl, but develop relationships with them where we can show them the love of Christ and encourage them to follow Him as well!

So, in the next few days as you have your quiet time or pray with others please remember these two outreaches in your prayers. Also, if you have any free time and would like to volunteer to be a part of either outreach please let me know!
