This weekend is the annual Woolly Worm Festival in Beattyville. The Rec Center is again having a booth at the festival selling pizzas. Our main reason in doing so is that due to the festival the Rec Center is pretty much a ghost town this weekend, so to make some money to keep the doors open we have to sell pizzas in town. So, my primary role in this is staying back at the Rec Center making pizzas. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining at all. I really like specific tasks like making x amount of pizzas, on the other hand I am not a fan of being a sales person who has to be a barker to draw people to a product. So, here I am today in the midst of making a bunch of pizzas. Last year we sold way over 100 pizzas and are really hoping we can have that same success this year. As winter is approaching and our heating bills get high here at the Rec Center we really need some big weekends to get ahead on our bills. Pray that this will be one of those weekends!
