This week has been one of those weeks where I feel like I am walking in a complete fog. On Saturday night the Rec Center ran a lock-in for Breathitt High Schools after prom event. It was actually one of the easiest and most low key lock-ins that I’ve ever been a part of the students were very well behaved and way quieter than most of are lock-ins.
On Sunday we took the kids to my Aunt Anna’s house to have Easter dinner with my Dad’s side of the family. Maeven had a blast socializing with the other toddlers and getting to hunt eggs. She didn’t get the biggest quantity of eggs, but went the quality route of finding the prize eggs. Judah also survived is first major outing and all the kisses from the family!
We ave been trying hard to get Judah on a good schedule, but this week has had several long nights for Erin and I. He is sleeping more each night, but Erin and I are pretty much walking zombies at this point. Please join us in praying that several hours of sleep each night will be a reality soon!
To end this post on a high note, both of our kids had there check ups this week with Dr. Hazelwood. Judah is off the charts for height and in the upper percentages for weight. Maven is in the upper percentages as well and the doctor said with her vocabulary at 18 months she is ahead of most 2 year olds. Our kids are growing rapidly. Pray we get the sleep to keep up with them!
