Every so often I will catch an episode of “Extreme Couponing” and I am always amazed at how these OCD people can collect coupons and get their groceries and household supplies for basically free. With our expanding family I have decided to be more diligent about getting the Sunday newspaper and clipping coupons for foods and supplies that we regularly use. Unlike the people on TV, I have yet to get the hang of it. I turn in coupon after coupon and the best I have ever done is getting around $8 or $9 off of a $125 grocery bill. Living so far away from the bigger chain stores I don’t always find out about double coupon days or get all the sales ads to know how to make my coupons go farther. Yet, I am resolved to do better and get the monthly household food and supply builds down. If any of you have any ideas on how I can make my coupons go farther i would love to hear from you!
