As this post goes out at 7:00 am on Tuesday, December 31st, it will be close to 24 to 26 hours until I crawl back home and make my way into bed. The bad news is that I will be very very very tired, but the good news is that I will have survived another exciting New Year’s Eve at the Lee County Recreational Center. Tonight at 10pm we will start our annual Teen Lock-In outreach that runs until 6:00 am. We are expecting over 150 teens to come out and join us for a fun filled night of games, prizes, bowling, cosmic bowling, karaoke, movies, and much more. KMM missionary Scott Brandenburg will be sharing a devotion with everyone about half way through the night. The devotional time is the whole reason we have this event as we want to share the Gospel with every single person that attends. Please be in prayer for Scott as he gets ready to speak to our teens and pray for the the teens that they will be open to the Gospel and that many would choose to give their lives to Christ. Also, please be in prayer for our staff as we seek to build relationships with the students who attend to be able to share the Gospel with them, encourage them, connect them to local churches and Bible studies, and much more. Also if you are interested in being a chaperone we are in need of adult volunteers to help us with everything from watching the doors to helping play games with the students. Let us know if you are available to help! More than anything please pray that God will bless this outreach and lives will be changed for Him!
