We hope that you and your family have had a very Merry Christmas and will enjoy a very Happy New Year this week! Our family was blessed to be able to spend some quality time together and with both sets of grandparents. Maeven and Judah were really into Christmas this year and it was such a blessing to be able to see the excitement in their eyes and also that Maven especially was able to understand the true meaning of Christmas!
At the Lee County Recreational Center we are gearing up for this week’s New Year’s Eve Teen Lock-In! On NYE we are expecting around 150 7th through 12th grade students to come out for a fun night of bowling, cosmic bowling, various games, karaoke, movies, and much much more. This year at our Lock-In Terry Leap, who is the pastor of our church, will be sharing a devotional in the middle of the night with all our students. We are praying that God would use him and all our staff to really see many of these students make decisions to give their lives to Christ!
With our lock-in comes a need for many adult chaperones to help watch the doors and make sure the students behave. Please join us in praying that we will have plenty of help to make this as fun and safe of an outreach as possible. If you are interested in helping for part of or the whole night please let us know.
2014 has been a very busy but blessed year and we want to thank you so much for your faithful prayer and support! We can’t wait to see what God is going to do in 2015!
