I have successfully completed my third 90 Day Body By Vi Challenge and am happy to report thatI lost a grand total of 13 pounds. I had hoped to have done better, but being down any amount is great. For the next few days I am going to keep up with exercise and calorie counting on My Fitness Pal app to keep my weight going down. In about a week I hope to start 90 Day Challenge #4! With that being said, I really want others to join me on my next challenge. Not only does the Visalus system work and I want to share it, but I also like the accountability of others working out with me. So won’t you consider joining me? Let’s get started soon!
Another week is down in my 90 Day Body by Vi Challenge and another pound is down! While progress has been slower this time around I am still happy to be seeing results on the scale and also around my waist. For the past two weeks I have really enjoyed trying new frozen berry and fruit combos in my shakes. I also went back to an old favorite of chocolate peanut butter vi-shakes. I have found though that the frozen fruit and berry combo shakes are definitely the most filling of my home mixes.

I can’t believe it’s already been two weeks since my last 90 Day Challenge update. Last week due to being on vacation, I didn’t have time to write an update, and honestly, due to eating out some I didn’t have anything to report. However, now I am back and reporting that I am once again losing weight. I am down another 1.5 lbs. making my total weight loss for this challenge so far 8.5 lbs. I know this is not a ton of weight, but I definitely can tell I am slimming and feeling much better, which to me is just as important as the numbers on the scale.
To help bring about some more diversity to my vi-shakes this past week I bought a lot of frozen fruit to start adding to my daily vi-shake regimen. My personal favorite that I have to recommend is Wal-Mart’s triple berry mix! This frozen berry mix contains strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. When blended with the vi-shake mix and some skim milk, a smoothie almost as good as Jamba Juice comes together!

Maintain, maintain, maintain! That seems to be all I have been able to do this past week. In every diet or period of weight-loss there is that initial plateau that you hit where you have done really well, but things on the scale just didn’t move. That seems to be the predicament that I find myself in this week. I have done really well watching my calories and sticking to my daily Vi Shakes. I can see a difference in my chest and stomach, but not scale movement. Over the next week I hope lots of patience, walking, swimming, and various other forms of exercise will help me start the scale moving southward again. I am excited to also let you know that I am pretty sure another person is going to be joining me on my weight-loss journey and will be starting their 90 Day Challenge soon! How about you? Another week has passed in my 90 Day Challenge and this week was definitely a tough one. Over the weekend my family and I travelled to Ohio where I shared with a church about KMM ministries and our role here with KMM. The problem with travel and staying in a hotel is while very relaxing and a nice change of pace, it’s pretty much impossible to keep up with the Vi-Shakes. That being said, I really had to monitor what I took in on my, My Fitness Pal app to make sure I wasn’t totally destroying all I had worked so hard to accomplish on my 90 Day Challenge thus far. Thankfully , I stood strong for the most part and am happy to report to you that I am another 2 lbs down this week, for a grand total of 8 lbs. lost in 3 weeks! I am continuing to feel a difference as the weight is dropping both in how I feel and look. I also am continuing to notice a difference in how much I am able to eat. One of my weaknesses has always been eating a big bowl of popcorn in the evening. Finishing off that bowl is usually not a problem. Last night, however, I hadn’t eaten much all day, but I could barely eat half a bowl of popcorn. Yeah Progress!!!
